In the part of Deshpande Fellowship Programme Orientation Visit I visited to Akshaya patra on during food preparation time early morning at 5:30 with other fellow and program managers on this day (TAPF) is a secular,charitable, not-for- profit organisation with a vision that "No child in India shall be deprived of education because of hunger".now this program spread over six states in India 1) Karnataka 2) AP 3) UP 4) Rajastan5) Gujarat and 6) Orissa with 14 locations within these sates.

FOOD SAFETY POLICY IN AKSHYA PATRA FOUNDATION

In Akshaya patra Foundation are committed to achieve their organisational Goal implementing Food Safety Policy in providing safe and nutritious food to School Children (beneficiaries).

Akshaya Patra shall achieve Food safety by :

• Imparting training to all employees On Food safety management system aspect.
• procure raw materials which would be safe and nutritious and according to food safety standards.
• Follow all statutory and regulatory requirements of food industry and implement Food Safety Management system,in Food production areas.
• Introducing a Safe and on -time delivery mechanism
